SYDNEY MUNDEN
Hey, I’m Sydney Munden — a Brooklyn-based art director with a background in fashion design, and an and too many creative side projects to count. Check out the passion projects tab on here.
I spent four years at Angora Group, working with brands like Kate Spade, Hill House Home, Our Place, and Telfar, before realizing I cared more about why things are made than how. That curiosity pulled me into art direction and The One School, where I finished Top 3 in my Chicago cohort and started building campaigns that live somewhere between fashion, humor, and storytelling.
Outside of work, I’m usually throwing ceramics, shooting film, or styling a photo that might later become an ad idea. Once I asked AI to roast my Instagram and it said:
“Your Instagram looks like a thrift store fell on you and you just went with it. It’s giving I miss MySpace even though I never had one and if a design student’s final project was just vibes. Every post screams accidentally aesthetic—like, did you mean to take that photo, or did your camera go off while overthinking an iced coffee order? I ran this through AI, and even it replied, ‘girl, no.’”
